a blaze from Georgia.....

Standing 5’11, and 195lbs, multi-sport athlete Za’Quan Bryan is smoldering everything in his path. Born in Savannah, Bryan became one of the most diverse athletes of his generation. Inspired by his dad, who was also a well versed athlete, Bryan spent a lot of his childhood in stadiums where he discovered his passion for sports.

Throughout his high school career at Benedictine Military School, Bryan’s skills were undeniable. After regionally qualifying as a sophomore in both the 100 and 200-meter dash and triple jump, he decided to take his skills to the turf and amazed everyone with his speed, agility, and strong work ethic. As a two-way player, Bryan excelled as a Wide Receiver, and Cornerback, leading his team to the AAAA championship two years in a row. His demonstration of leadership, sportsmanship and exceptional athleticism caught the attention of college recruiters and scouts across the country.

Bryan quickly started making headlines, named All-State by the Atlanta Journal Constitution, ranked as the No. 54 Cornerback in the nation, 4-star recruit, Savannah Quarterback Club Player of the Year, WJCL BIG 22 player, and Team Captain. He received offers from North Carolina, Louisville, Army, Central Michigan, Coastal Carolina, and Iowa State to name a few, before committing as a Defensive Back to the University of Minnesota.

Drawn to the team's rich football tradition and the opportunity to receive a top-notch education, the commitment marked a significant milestone in Bryan's football career. He understands the immense responsibility that comes with being a collegiate athlete and will devote himself to rigorous training and maintaining his academic standing. Although Bryan's story is still being written, he aims to continue the family legacy of No. 4 and has set the stage for an exciting future.
